the “dragon’s hole” is the most famous cave in the vicinity of Žilina and is reached by guided footpath. The 60 m long fissure cave is freely accessible and in it were found the remains of a cave bear and evidence of human habitation during the Stone Age. Legend says that the cave was also once the home of a dangerous dragon, from which it takes its name. The cave is freely accessible for visitors.
