These stone balls are located in the vicinity of the village of Milošová, a part of the city of Čadca. At the end of the 20th century, round balls ranging in diameter from 10 to 260 cm rolled out of the quarry after a rock blast. This is a geological mystery and geologists are still trying to explain how these stone balls were formed. Such formations cannot be found anywhere else in Slovakia or Europe for that matter. Only Costa Rica and New Zealand have something similar.
